Pro Tools does not recognize Apollo Twin Duo in Setup/Hardware/ peripherals.
Playback sound just comes away from iMac speakers (whenever I mute Apollo monitor we still hear professional tools playback, but electric electric guitar attached to Apollo input happens of speakers and is managed (muted, volume up/down) by Apollo monitor settings.
Apollo is acquiesced by iMac and seems as chosen input/output device in system preferences/sound.
I uninstalled/reinstalled UA computer pc software. Deleted/Re-added I/O in professional tools.
I started initially to restore Avid installation from Time Machine – but i will be terrified it’ll lose/alter the entire year long recording task We have now been focusing on.
I can not determine if it really is a nagging issue using the mac OS, the Apollo, or Pro Tools. And so I have always been lost on whom to get hold of for support. Literally absolutely absolutely nothing changed from a single to the next day.
